One of the most popular and strenuous hikes in the White Mountains of New Hampshire is getting major improvements. WMUR reports that $1.1 million will be allocated to repair and realign the hiking trail. The project is expected to take up to five years. The 9.3-mile roundtrip hike averages over one thousand guests a day during peak season, and usually averages 6-7 hours to complete. For more information about the hike, check out this profile from AllTrails here.
This is what an Olympic skier can do off a regular old resort roller. Cheers to French slopestyle compeitor/resort god Ben Buratti!
