How Swedish Freeskier Jesper Tjäder Spends The Offseason

I probably don’t need to introduce Jesper Tjäder to any of you, so I won’t. Just know that I worship this man’s skiing ability, and I feel like there’s always time to talk about sick he is on the sticks.

I mean, have you seen the Unrailistic videos? They’re easily some of the most impressive freestyle skiing tricks you will ever see. Ever. No questions.

Anyways, Red Bull put together a behind-the-scenes video of how Jesper spends his offseason prepping for the next ski season in his hometown of Are, Sweden. Pretty neat to see how Jesper uses sports like skateboarding and rollerblading to hone his skills as a skier.

You know that silly icebreaker question that you always get asked when you start a new job or meet a new group of people? It’s usually something like “Who would you want to eat a meal with?” or some other kind of bullshit question that nobody will remember your answer to.

Well, applying that same format, I would hands-down want to ski with Jesper out of anybody in the world. I’ll just cruise the side hits in the terrain park and watch him do his thing. That would be an unforgettable experience, no doubt.
