Griffin Post part of group to discover the 85-year-old “lost cache” of legendary mountain explorers

Professional mountain explorer Griffin Post set out on an expedition last spring with glaciologist Dorota (Dora) Medrzycka and the Teton Gravity Research film crew to attempt at discovering the “lost cache” of mountaineers Bradford Washburn and Robert Bates when they were forced to abandon their gear and escape the mountains with their lives in 1937. Including a camera and mountaineering gear, this successful and historical treasure hunt was documented by TGR and will be released as a film in the near future.

Loveland Ski Area announces November 3 opening day

Loveland Ski Area announced on Monday that it will officially open for the season on Thursday, November 3. This makes Loveland the fourth Colorado ski area to open, after Arapahoe Basin on October 23, Keystone on Friday and Winter Park on Monday.
