It will be the third weekend in a row that world cup racing has been affected, with the women’s GS race cancelled in Soelden and the downhill races from Zermatt to Cervinia for both men and women.

The International Ski Federation, FIS, has decided the parallel events for women and men cannot go ahead.

There has been snow in the past few days, but not enough and with warm weather for this week the organisers have cancelled it.

The next races on the calendar are two women’s slaloms in Levi, Finland, on November 19th and 20th.

The men are scheduled to resume racing with one downhill and two Super-Gs in Lake Louise, Canada.

The Canadian series is scheduled for the 25th-27th of November.

Lake Louise has opened early after heavy autumn snow.
